"Beltane has always been a time to celebrate the approaching arrival of summer, and the fertility of the land. Like Samhain, it was believed that the veil between this world and the Otherworld is thinnest around this time of year. It is a time to get in touch with the driving buzz of creativity that pumps through the earth and rattles our deepest inner selves. It's a time to dance and sing and celebrate the earth coming alive with abundance and vitality. One of my favorite symbols of this time of year is the Celtic idea of the May Queen. She was believed to be the human embodiment of the land itself. She represented the fertility and abundance of the land," say Moon.
