IV. The Emperor: The Emperor embodies the fatherly archetype. He sits on a cold stone throne where he must handle the challenging responsibilities of being a leader. The Empress was a creative and artistic force, and the Emperor brings forward discipline, structure, and results. The Emperor appears to be the tough parent: he has rules for you to obey and tasks for you to complete. He only does this because he wants the best for you, and he knows that organization and hard work will lead to concrete results. He sees your potential and sets you on a path of making clear decisions, staying energized, and determined so you may someday be in a position of advantage and self-realization. Common meanings: discipline, order, following rules, organization, responsibility, taking control, exploring masculinity, government, rationalism, law, authority.
