Jen Lightfoot (Ithaca, NY)

Jen Lightfoot's drawings, which are heavily influenced by pinup art, punk rock, and horror films, combine elements of the erotic and the grotesque. Lightfoot received her MFA from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in 2013, and in 2007 she received her BFA in Illustration from Moore College of Art and Design. She has exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions including The Dirty Show in Detroit, MI, Surreal Salon Six at Baton Rouge Gallery in Baton Rouge, LA, and Over The Edge: Paperworks Unbound at the Williamsburg Art and Historical Center in Brooklyn, NY. In 2013 her work was featured in The Philadelphia Inquirer in an article about The Philadelphia Mausoleum of Contemporary Art's annual horror-themed art exhibit.
